Initially I had 10 hives and operated as hobby beekeeper, giving away most of my honey to family and friends. It was in 2009 that I began to develop the idea of starting a small beekeeping business.

In 2010
Little Creatures Honey Farm was born. Working by myself building beehives and catching swarms to populate them was a very slow process. Eventually in 2011 I took on some additional carpenters to help me with the building of beehives and catch hives that we sell. Little Creatures Honey Farm is still a very small beekeeping business but we're growing steadily, and by January 2013 we aim to have 500 working beehives.

The mainstay of Little Creatures business is honey and beehive sales but we also sell other bee related products, such as wax and propolis. We also do
swarm removals at a very reasonable cost - covering the cost of transport only.
